My linocut Naïve Artists in Iittala has really surprised me! Naïve Artits in Iittala Foundation presented framed linos at the opening ceremony of this summer's exhibition to a few important persons who have been developing this exhibition over it's 30 years history. Aira Heinänen received the first lino. She set up this naive exhibition with her husband Kalevi in the wooden school building in Iittala in 1988. And what a fabulous exhibition has it been, last year it was the second most visited summer exhibition in Finland! I'm really happy that my linocut got the honor to be such a festive present! The lino is visible in quite many products: t-shirt, college shirt, card, notepad, canvas bag, and kitchen towel. All these products are on sale at the lobby shop of the Naïve Artists in Iittala exhibition.
