Raparpereista pitäisi muka leikata kukat pois, jotta lehdet kasvaa. Höpönpöpö! Kukat ovat ihanat ja raparperia en syö, liian hapan! Muistan kun lapsena mökillä herkkua oli kastaa raparperin varsi sokeriin ja haukata! No, siellä ei oikein herkkuja kaapista löytynyt.

They say you should cut the flowers off rhubarb so that the leaves grow. What a bummer! The flowers are lovely and I don't eat rhubarb, it's too sour! I remember when I was a kid at the summer cottage it was a treat to dip a rhubarb stalk in sugar and bite into it! Well, there weren't really any treats in the cupboard at that time.
