PISPALAN TALOJA -LINOPIIRROKSEN VEDOSTUSTA / PRINTING PISPALA HOUSES LINOCUT

Kahden tai useammankin linopiirroksen yhdistäminen tuntuu olevan minulle aika tyypillistä. Tässä työssä olen yhdistänyt kaksi linoa: toisessa on pelkkiä Pispalan taloja ja toisessa harjun reunaa ja järvi. Yhden linon koko on 20 x 30 cm, joten yhdistämällä kaksi päällekkäin saan 20 x 60 kokoisen työn. Tämä on yksi versio useista samaa aihetta käsittelevistä linopiirroksista, aika poikkeava pysty kuva. Yhdistän linopiirroksen ennen vedostusta teipillä yhteen isommaksi levyksi.

It seems to be quite typical for me to combine two or more linocuts. In this work I have put together two linocuts: the other has only Pispala houses in it and the other has houses. the top of the Pispala ridge and a lake. The size of one lino is 20 x 30 cm, so combining two on top of each other I get 20 x 60 cm sized picture. This is one version of several linocuts of the same subject, a bit different upright image. I link the linocuts before printing to a bigger picture with a piece of tape.
