KISSAT KORISSA / CATS IN BASKET

Toinen harjoitelmani kissasta tai oikeastaan kissoista pajukorissa on myös kortinkokoinen linoleikkaus kuten aiempikin versio samasta aiheesta. Nyt sain punaruskean värin tasaiseksi, mutta vedostus ei ole yhtä helppoa ja sujuvaa kuin mustan värin kanssa. Ruskea väri tuntuu paakkuuntuvan ja kuivuvan helpommin  kuin musta. Kuva parista kissanpoikasesta reunan yli kurkkimassa onnistui mielestäni aika hyvin. 

My second study of Cat in Basket (or actually two cats) is also card sized linocut just like the earlier version of the same subject. Now I managed to get the brown colour even and smooth. The printing or pulling is though not as fluent as with the black colour. Brown colours seems to be getting lumpy and dry easier then black. I think that the picture of two kittens peeking over the rim of the basket worked out quite good.
