Tässä englantilaisen George Halkettin (1865-1918) satukuvituksessa on herkulliset värit. Torkkuva kissa on osa isommasta kuvasta satuun Tontut ja suutari (The Elves and The Shoemaker). Kissa on nukahtanut oranssiraitaiselle matolle, ja taustalla samaa oranssia näkyy takasta. Taustan takanreunus on turkoosi ja oikealla näkyy osa sinisestä kuviosta, ehkä jalkalistaa. Kissan turkista löytyy monia värejä ja viivoja, ruskeaa, oranssia, sinistä Sadussa kaksi tonttua pelastavat suutarin kiireisestä kenkätilauksesta, Grimmin veljekset ovat kirjoittaneet versionsa samasta sadusta.

There are delicious colours in this illustration for a fairy tale The Elves and The Shoemaker by English George Halkett (1855-1918). A dozing cat is a detail of a bigger picture. The cat has fallen asleep on a carpet with orange stripes. and in the background there is same orange colour from a fireplace. The fireplace mantel behind is turquoise, and on the right you can see part of some blue pattern, perhaps skirting board. Even on the fur of the cat there are several colours and stripes, brown, blue and orange. In this fairy tale two elves are rescuing a shoemaker with a urgent order. There is the same tale also in Grimm´s books.
