Kissakortti: 352 / Cat Card: 352

Tämä kissakortti on todella pieni, vain 9 x 7,5 cm. Kolme mustavalkoista kissaa kumartuu katsomaan kuvaansa veden pinnasta. Vai ovatko kissatkin vain kopioita isoimmasta? Taustalla oleva vihreä metsä ja taivaskin pilvineen kopioituvat veteen. Kuvassa on jotenkin surrealistinen, hiukan epätodellinen tunnelma, osaksi varmaan sen takia että kissat ovat valtavan kokoisia. Kuva on saksalaisesta lastenkirjasta "Mit dir sind wir vier" (Sinun kanssasi meitä on neljä). Kuvitus on Almut Gernhardtin (1940-1989) ja teksti Robert Gernhardtin (1937-2006) vuodelta 1976.

This cat card is really small, only 9 x 7,5 cm. Three black and white cats are bending to see their reflection on the surface of some water. Or are cats only copies of the largest one? The green forest and the sky with clouds are also reflecting on the water. There is a bit surrealistic, unreal mood in the picture, partly perhaps because the cats are huge. The picture is from a German children´s book  "Mit dir sind wir vier" (With You We Are Four). The illustration is by  Almut Gernhardt (1940-1989) and text by Robert Gernhardt (1937-2006) from 1976.
