Kissakortti: 122 / Cat Card: 122

Hampurilaisen Kathia Bergerin naivistisessa kissakortissa on musta kissa, jolla on pelottavat keltaiset silmät. Värikkäät ja suuret pikkulinnut eivät tunnu välittävän kissasta - eikä kissa linnuista. Tyypillisiä naivistisia aiheita ovat lehdetön puu, maatalo, tiiliseinä ja nupukivet. Kuvan nimi on Philipp auf dem Bauenhof (Philipp maatalolla). 

Olen vuosien aikana kerännyt aikamoisen määrän kissakortteja. Museoiden kaupat ovat oikeita aarreaittoja kissakorttien kerääjälle. Useat korteistani ovat taidekortteja.

In Kathia Berger's naïve cat card there is a black cat with scary yellow eyes. Large colourful little birds don't bother the cat - and the cat does not care about the birds. Typical naivist subjects are the leafless tree, farm building, brick wall and pebbles. The name of this picture is Philipp auf dem Bauenhof  (Philipp on a farm). 

I have collected quite a large number of cat cards over decades. Museum shops are treasure-troves for a cat card collector. Several of my cat cads are art cards.
