Englantilaisen Mary Feddenin (1915-2012) öljymaalauksen nimi on osuvasti Sleeping Cat / Nukkuva kissa. Kortissa perspektiivi on hauskasti vinksallaan. The name of this oil painting by English Mary Fedden (1915-2012) is aptly Sleeping Cat. In this card everything is in a fun wonky angle. The cat seems to be almost sliding over the edge of the table in it´s sleep. The white poppy has puffed up enormously like in a dream. The grapes and a lemon are floating in the air. The fur of the cat and all the brown hues in the picture are delicious. The viewer would like to wrap the shawl around his/hers shoulders and perhaps read a book.
