Summer holiday in the country is almost over. The autumn hobbies are gradually starting and also linocutting. In the spring I made linocut Dandelion Field, and this new linocut Hayfield is a segual in the same size and shape.
Vihreä osuus on ensin maalattu kahden sapluunan avulla. Koko vihreä osuus aluksi ja tummempi osuus entisen vihreän päälle. Väritys oli helpointa tehdä sienellä. Ja sitten linoleikkauksen painanta viimeiseksi.
The green part was done first with two different sized stencils. First the whole green part and then the darker part on top of the earlier green part.The colouring was easiest to make with a sponge. And then the printing of the linocut lastly.
