Kissakorttien kokoelmasta 4. / Cat card collection 4.

Hannes Heikuran tummasävyisiä valokuvia Helsingistä oli näyttelyssä "Dark Zone" Helsingin taidemuseossa vuonna 2011. Sieltä ostin tämän postikortin. Kuva on "City-käytävä 1.4.2010 klo 13.51". Kissa kulkee tytön olkapäällä ja kuvassa on hiukan pelokas ilme. Seinällä olevien lamppujen varjotkin tuntuvat huutavan: pian pois täältä!

Olen vuosien aikana kerännyt aikamoisen määrän kissakortteja. Suuri osa korteista on hankittu Lontoosta tai muilta matkoilta. Erityisesti British Museumin ja Victoria & Albert museon kaupat ovat oikeita aarreaittoja kissakorttien kerääjälle. Useat korteistani ovat taidekortteja. 

Hannes Heikura´s dusky photographs of Helsinki were in the exhibition "Dark Zone" in Helsinki Art Museum in 2011. I bought his post card from there. The picture is  called "City passage 1.4.2010, 1:51 pm". The cat is travelling on the shoulder of a girl and there is a bit fearful expression in this picture. Even the shadows of the lamps on the wall seem to scream: soon out of here!

I have collected quite a large number of cat cards over decades. Many of my cat cards have been purchased in London or on other trips. Especially British Museum Shop and Victoria & Albert Museum Shop are treasure-troves for a cat card collector. Several of my cat cads are art cards.
