Kuvataiteen päivänä 10.7.2022 sää suosi, ihmiset täyttivät Iittalan Lasimäen, monille sain kertoa linopiirroksen tekniikasta ja monet ostivatkin kortteja, linopiirroksia tai pikatatuointejani. Kaiken kaikkiaan hieno päivä, ja tunnit kuluivat hujauksessa. Hyvää seuraakin oli. Samassa pöydässä puupiirroksen tekniikoihin perehdytti Miia Ikimeri ja ihmiset, aikuiset ja lapset, ihastelivat Esa Leppäsen romuveistoksia. Tätä Kuvataiteen päivää vietettiin ympäri Suomea jo useamman vuoden kokemuksella Helen Schjerfbeckin syntymäpäivän kunniaksi.

At the Visual Arts Day July 10th, 2022 the weather was fine, there were a lot of people in Iittala, I got the opportunity to tell about the technique of linocutting to many visitors and many of then even bought cards, linocuts or instant tattoos from my linocuts. All in all a fine day, and the hours passed in a frenzy. And I had some good company. At the same table Miia Ikimeri instructed to the secrets of woodcut, and all, adult and children, admired Esa Leppänen´s scrab metal sculptures. This Visual Arts Day was celebrated already with a few years of experience around Finland in honor of Helene Schjerfbecks´s birthday.
