Halusin kokeilla "Kissat rapuissa" -linopiirrokseen erivärisiä reunoja. Jotta värin levittämisen suttaamatta onnistuisi, piti keskiosa ja reunus leikata irralleen, jolloin erivärisen musteen levittäminen onnistui. Tällaisia kokeilin nyt: musta keskus ja pronssinvärinen reunus, mustalla paperilla kullanvärinen keskus ja hopeanvärinen reunus ja vielä sama valkoisella paperilla. Tämä viimeinen näyttäisi ehkä hyvältä hopeanvärisessä tai valkoisessa kehyksessä. Kuvan koko on 30 x 30 cm. ********* I wanted to test the linocut "Cats on Stairs" with different coloured borders. The middle part and the border had to be cut separate so that I could spread colour without making a mess. Now it´s possible to spread different colours on border. I tested now these: a black center and bronze borders, golden center and silver border on a black paper, and silver border and golden center on a white paper. This last one might look OK in a silvery or white frame. The size of the picture is 30 x 30 cm. Kissat rapuilla / Cats on Stairs
