Useat korteistani ovat taidekortteja. ******** This crowned feline is a detail of a Peruvian tapestry which was done between 1680-1720. The lion has a ferocious tongue, and the patterns of the claws, tail and mane are delicate. The tapestry was done with wool, silk and silver thread. I have collected quite a large number of cat cards over decades. Museum shops are treasure-troves for a cat card collector. Several of my cat cads are art cards.
