Lapsuuden kesämökiltä muistuu mieleen vanha puusohva ja pelargonioiden tuoksu. Äitini ehti istua malliksi tähän ölyvärimaalaukseen ja kissa vaani tapansa mukaan sohvan alla.

I remember well the old wooden bench and the smell of geraniums in the summer cottage of my childhood. My mother found the time to sit as a model for this oil painting. And the cat was lunking under the bench as usual.
